South West Coast Path 2012

I walked the UK’s South West Coast Path in summer 2012. At 630 miles it’s the UK’s longest official National Trail, and includes ascent and descent of nearly four times the height of Everest!  There’s a lot more information, including maps and descriptions of each stage, on the official website.

I camped, carrying all my gear with me, and it took me about seven weeks to get round – with two short breaks.  In addition to the blog posts there’s a summary of the daily distances I walked.
